Artsmarkgold

Artsmark is a national award scheme managed by Arts Council England that recognises schools with a high level of provision in the arts.  The award scheme is open to all schools in England, primary, secondary, special schools and pupil referral units, both maintained and independent.

By gaining an Artsmark, a school shows its commitment to the wider development of young people and teachers and to raising the profile of the arts in the school and local community.

The Artsmark award can be achieved at three levels:

Artsmark - This is the standard level of achievement a school can attain by completing all of the compulsory sections of the application form.

Artsmark Silver - This is the middle level of achievement a school can attain by completing all compulsory sections of the application form and the optional requirements for Silver.

Artsmark Gold

We are incredibly proud to have achieve the Artsmark Gold Award.  This award recognises the efforts the pupils and staff have put into Nether Green's many Arts activities.  We had to complete all compulsory sections of the application form and the optional requirements for Gold.
