The vision for history at NGJS is for children to have a coherent knowledge of Britain’s past and that of the wider world. We want to inspire children to be curious about the past, to ask questions, think critically, weigh evidence and develop perspectives and judgements about history.
At Nether Green, Geography is taught as both a practical and academic subject. Teaching children practical skills allows them to analyse the environment. Delivering subject knowledge through cross curricular topics ensures that they develop an understanding of the ever changing world around them.
